    Justin Rogers That explains a lot.January 20 2015, 8:57pm
MellowJohnny I rode 3/4 of the night on the chic ring lmfao!January 20 2015, 9:17pm
popstarron This was crazy for me. Still can't get my averages where I'd like them. Shane, you're back on form. So many people with intimidating results.January 20 2015, 9:48pm
MellowJohnny Popstarron- coach had me do 6 by 5k yesterday so I rode tonight on the speed cadence sensor. I have tested S/C vs Power and it guess you about 40-45W more then if you were rolling power. My weight is actually 73.8kg so I got a little more by only being at 70kg. I am rolling 500-550km a week right now which off Phil's numbers of 4.7W/kg is not possible for me right now.January 20 2015, 9:58pm
MellowJohnny Guess is gives January 20 2015, 9:59pm
Rider X That was great! Thanks to everyone. I'll know I'm getting fit when I can manage not to get lapped. January 20 2015, 10:09pm
MattVon I still have a very hard time trading pace in this. I wonder if it would be possible to improve the drafting dynamics. Of course, it would help if I didn't jump off the front at the beginning :PJanuary 20 2015, 10:18pm
wheelzQC Fun move MattVon! I liked it. Justin, how are you able to see everything? January 20 2015, 10:46pm
Justin Rogers I don't see it really Phil. I look at the time and knowing how people think I guess lol Been riding in here with you guys long enough to see the paterns ;-)good go! January 20 2015, 11:06pm
    MellowJohnny I cyber doped I admit it!January 20 2015, 11:32pm
MellowJohnny i'll power tap up with correct weight end of Fenruary... This mileage is high end zapping. if Phil and BYT are still rocking high 4 pts then I might have to put an 11 on the back!January 20 2015, 11:36pm
gmt I tried like 4 times to do "spectator mode" on this one. I guess that mode isn't working.January 21 2015, 6:25am
gwoity Unbelievable... just dont get it January 21 2015, 6:57am
Tys3 Hey Matt - you were riding strong... I needed you to hang in (but after attacking out the gate I was impressed - we were getting attacked pretty hard near the end). My HR never even came close to dropping below threshold for the whole run. January 21 2015, 7:21am
Stella11 i know i shouldn't but i can't help myself. Mellow (Shane) why wouldn't you use your power tap now........if you have it why bother with SC dream meter ? what am i missing January 21 2015, 7:23am
    gwoity @Stella11 - don't forget the 3.8kg magic diet pill tooJanuary 21 2015, 7:34am
MattVon heh, I'm not racing if my HR isn't peaked! I had to back off the last 4 laps. Just couldn't sustain it. What I like about this is you can close your eyes and go into a suffer-trance. Can't do that in the real-world!January 21 2015, 8:13am
arthare gmt - spectator mode is indeed bust, sorry. My next bit of free time is on Friday, might try to fix it then.January 21 2015, 8:14am
bdebray I hear ya Matt! I was pinned at about lap 7 and I knew that I couldn't hold my hr at that level for another 15 laps. Turned it into a TT for the last 20 km. January 21 2015, 11:33am
MellowJohnny Stella I did 6 by 5K repeats 20 hours prior to this. I am 45 years old the body doesn't rebound that fast. The Speed Cadence feature makes the night a lot smoother. The 70kg was a error on input wanted to hit 80... anyhow its all relative to what happens when the show goes outdoors.January 21 2015, 2:10pm
    MattVon Ha! I'm 53. No excuses!January 21 2015, 3:11pm
Stella11 so you wanted to win thenJanuary 22 2015, 6:16am
MattVon I always "want" to win, but at this point, I just do it to stay in shape.... It's just fun to do the best I can... 4th is good for me..I like to suffer..January 22 2015, 8:47am
wheelzQC The first 30 I wanted to win... the last 30min I wanted the higher watts and wishing you guys would attack to force the watts up (without me noticing, TDG my best training tool). Chasing MattVon the first 30 pumped the numbers up. You always had to attack at the end of the lap hehe. That was the worst part to ride, too much turning for riding the rollers. January 22 2015, 9:04am
Rider X Everyone on TDG wants to win. That's one of the main attractions of the game.January 22 2015, 9:07am
Justin Rogers Not sure that was meant for you Matt January 22 2015, 9:27am
    Justin Rogers Wait, phil you're on rollers?January 22 2015, 9:28am
popstarron Damn, probably shouldn't be, but I'm happy with 15th. Feel like I'm back in a cat. 2 crit with how fast I'm lapped by some of you. Shane, you're right about master's recovery time. I'm just stayin' alive at sixty-five.January 22 2015, 10:05am
wheelzQC @Justin yeah ! I got Emotion rollers, so I have aids... Usually I'm all good, but this Tuesday I hit the bumpers 3-4 times. I installed a bigger TV, I think that's the reason and the fact that the race was engaging.January 22 2015, 10:23am
    wheelzQC P.S. I hope to be on TDG at 45, 55 and 65 ! That's more than awesome. January 22 2015, 10:26am
MattVon @Phil. - Have you tried TDG with a variable load simulator like the CT or Kickr? I'm curious about the how the experience in TDG differs when the wheel speed isn't controlled.. I don't have the heart to pull out my old rollers.....January 22 2015, 12:20pm
Justin Rogers Is there an algoritham in the drop down menu for rollers? January 22 2015, 12:48pm
wheelzQC I was on a fixed tacx fortius last year and this year on the rollers. Never tried a controlled one, but with the fortius it gives me an idea. For sure I would like to have it controlled ! I mush prefer to have my power/inertia vary then a steady power. I still try to fill the hills, shift, and stand up. I know emotion rollers have a ant+ controller in beta testing (I registered to get one). My friend tried it in TDG last week and it worked (recognized it as a Wahoo). I'm supposed to go to a shop studio Saturday , with the team, filled with Wahoos. @Justin, did I answer your question (by the emotion getting recognized as a wahoo trainer).January 22 2015, 1:04pm
    wheelzQC feel not fill.January 22 2015, 1:05pm
MattVon I have noticed that it seems to be easier to trade pace with someone who also has a Kickr (what I have). The acceleration/deceleration physics seem to be significant when trying to match speeds. Too bad this isn't more popular to support device-centric events... January 22 2015, 3:37pm
MellowJohnny Stella Phil asked me to ride but due to the workout Monday and my AM session Tuesday I knew rolling in TDG with guys like Rogers, Phil, Bryan Tyers, Matt Von etc... Would be a pretty stupid way to recover. I decided that it was possible do hang out and push the issue as Phil was looking to hit a high Power to weight number on the evening by rolling via the Speed/Cadence set up. The winning thing only matters outdoors as that is truly the only true environment for head to head bike racing. January 22 2015, 6:09pm
wheelzQC I tried the Kickr saturday. It's a pretty smooth trainer. Their calibration was wayyyyyy off, but still had a good feel to the game. I see why you guys naturally push harder with the added tension. I'll hope that Emotion rollers ant+ will be smooth as well. @MattVon, the breakaway artist, will you join tonight ? January 27 2015, 10:12am
Justin Rogers KICKR is typically 20w higher than my Vectors. I'm on a bata app that has KICKr picking up my pedals, really cool. So I ride TDG at vector power, that kinda sucks heheJanuary 27 2015, 11:33am
MattVon @Phil, I hope to ride tonight. I've been off the bike all week with the flu..Yeah, the Kickr is smooth. Mine is about 5 watts higher than the quarq power meter, but I think that is expected between crank and rear wheel. I had a another unit that had a higher difference, but I replaced it. January 27 2015, 12:14pm
wheelzQC Oh when I said wayyy off I meant it. Like 200w off and some more. It's a shop that sort of just got them and learning to use them. They didn't have the app installed to calibrate it, so that will have to get added. January 27 2015, 1:31pm
